About

EnableComp is the full-service provider of workers’ compensation billing and collection solutions. We manage the entire revenue cycle from verifying the payer to sending the bill electronically via our proprietary e-billing platform to appealing any underpayments. We partner with over 800 healthcare providers to maximize reimbursement from work comp payers by having the best people, processes, products, and performance.

As a best practices company focused solely on workers’ compensation revenue, we use clinical expertise, data driven analytics, managed care and proprietary technology to achieve optimal results for our clients. By removing the complexity and payer challenges associated with workers’ compensation, our clients can be assured they are being paid accurately the first time. EnableComp’s services focus on day 1 workers’ compensation placements (e-billing), zero balance review, aging AR, legacy AR, PPO network analysis and payer settlement negotiations.

Our Revenue Services team has specialized expertise in working with the payers in this unique and complicated reimbursement class. We speak their language, and have earned their respect and cooperation.

A Tribute to Our Founder

David Iskowe (1953–2014)

David Iskowe founded EnableComp in 2000. He came up with the original concept by listening to his client, who was struggling with their workers’ compensation claims. They are still a client to this day. David was the ultimate entrepreneur and EnableComp was actually the third company he started from the ground up. He loved the challenge and he never, ever gave up.

David was an accountant by trade and spent many years in one of the largest national accounting firms. He moved to Nashville to join the corporate operations of HealthAmerica Corporation, which had been founded by Phil Bredesen, former Nashville mayor and Tennessee Governor.

He left HealthAmerica in 1996 and founded Focus Healthcare Management, which became the largest Workers’ Comp PPO Network in the country and was eventually purchased by Coventry Healthcare. David founded Providers’ Assurance and grew it prior to founding EnableComp in 2000.

David Iskowe passed away in 2014 from surgery related complications and is missed by his family, friends and his colleagues here at EnableComp. He was an inspiration to all of us.
