EnableComp has achieved another milestone and is excited to announce that we have made the Tennessean’s Top Workplaces list for the 3rd time and for the 2nd year in a row! We have our entire team to thank for this award as it is solely based on employee feedback. Their feedback allows us the opportunity to reflect, reevaluate and revise our strategies and empowers us to evolve as a company. It’s this authentic feedback, that allows us to receive such an honor.
The Tennessean has conducted the survey in partnership with Philadelphia-based Energage to rank Middle Tennessee’s Top Workplaces for eight years. The information is gathered from scientific data of employees who rated their workplace culture. Over 1,000 employers in the region were invited to share the survey with their staff with any company eligible to participate as long as it had a minimum of 35 employees.
The Tennessean built the employee engagement survey with 24 questions that revolved around issues related to workplace culture including:
- Alignment: where the company is headed, its values, cooperation, effective meetings
- Coaching: managers care about concerns, are helpful, encourage employee development
- Connection: employees feel appreciated, work is meaningful, working at full potential, clued into each other
- Engagement: productivity, retention, recruiting
- Leadership: confidence in company leaders
- Performance: execution, open-mindedness, innovation, clued-in leadership
- The basics: pay, benefits, flexibility, training, expectations
Only companies that ranked with high scores in each category could be named to the list.
Let’s talk about teamwork for a minute. Webster’s defines it as “a joint action by a group of people, in which each person subordinates his or her individual interests and opinions to the unity and efficiency of the group.” We’ve all heard the quote “teamwork makes the dream work” and at EnableComp, we witness this in action each and every day because this is at the heart of our culture. From Empowered Team Members to Innovation, EnableComp employees embody the definition of teamwork. We would not be where we are today (or have made the Top Workplaces list) without our phenomenal team.
No matter your position within the company, every individual contributes to the TEAM and plays and integral part in making our Company a Top Workplace. Employees are always willing to lend a helping hand when someone needs it, whether it be on an event, special project, for charitable giving, filling in when someone is out…you name it and our employees bridge the gap. That’s all because we are an empowered team. You need a strong team to be able to achieve great things and luckily that is exactly what we have here at EC.
